Modern Sociable Kitchen in Essex

Whilst on holiday the couple met one of our customers and admired their new kitchen so much, they arranged for our designer Sue to visit their home in Essex when they returned.

The couple also visited some other local showrooms and obtained designs but were impressed with Sue’s design as it made best use of the new larger room and was the only design to offer something different.

“The other companies all responded with very similar design solutions that did not seem to have any design flair,” said Mrs Bloom. “The design from Kitchen and Bedroom Studios was the only one that reflected what we had asked for.”

Mrs Bloom knew she wanted a modern streamlined kitchen and had a few items on her wish list, so was delighted with the design proposed by Sue.

A local builder was employed direct by the couple to knock two rooms into one to create the space for the new kitchen. Mrs Bloom says, “It all worked really well, despite the distance and the split between the building works and kitchen installation. They communicated well and there were no issues.”

The Hacker Classic Art kitchen in Cashmere is teamed with a beautiful contrasting Oxide finish for the high level units, and the open shelving in the same material adds interest. The Silestone Blanco Maple worktops work well with the Cashmere and brings the colour scheme together with Opticolour Bronze mirror splashback and the warmth of the herringbone wood floor. The new room has bifold doors that open into the garden, creating a link with the outside and a central island that includes a hob, storage and the wine cooler.

Mrs Bloom adds, “We both enjoy using the new kitchen, it is such a sociable and comfortable room. The new bi-fold doors are fabulous and I love how the island brings us all together.

“We are so happy that we chose Kitchen and Bedroom Studios, Sue listened to everything we said and responded every time we had a query. The installation team were very professional and hardworking, we can’t recommend them highly enough.
