Making the Most of a Smaller Kitchen

The couple had a small utility room that wasn’t being used much, so decided to knock through the wall and open up their kitchen to create more space and usability.

Debbie’s uncle had used KBS and recommended them, so they contacted the company for a quote, and within 2 weeks, designer Sue Birch was sitting with them discussing plans.

“We liked Sue’s ideas and honest approach,” says Bruce. “KBS also won hands-down on customer service. We’d approached another well-known national company but despite an initial visit from their rep, they never got back to us, even though we chased three times for a quote! KBS presented us with the right ideas, at the right price, so it was an easy decision to give them the work!”

The whole project took just over a couple of weeks, with no major hiccups or incidences. Out came the wall, in came new units, integral appliances, work surfaces and flooring. They chose a neutral colour scheme to make the most of the light, and give the illusion of more space.

“We’d recommend KBS whole-heartedly,” says Bruce. “The project came in on time, on budget and the workmen were excellent. We’re absolutely delighted.”
