Lovely Cottage Kitchen Makes the Most of the Space
That was the story behind Donald and Wendy Hutchinson’s move in 2015. Although they loved their new cottage in Denham Village, Wendy knew almost immediately that she couldn’t live long term with its facilities.
“It’s a small kitchen,” she says. “There was no hidden storage like you get today, and the cupboards were wood, with inaccessible areas and falling apart. We also felt better use of the space would give us a more spacious feel to the small area available,” says Wendy.
Having just moved to the area, the couple didn’t know who to approach for quotes, but the local estate agents proved very helpful, when two of the staff recommended KBS from personal experience.
“That was fine for us,” says Wendy. “We called in Sue, who came up with a design very quickly. We then gave our input, the design was re-jigged, and that’s what we ended up with.”
The couple love their bright, functional kitchen with a layout designed to maximise the space.
“We’re very pleased,” says Wendy. “It contains everything we need to make life easier, whilst still looking smart and stylish. We’d recommend KBS to anyone wanting a ‘new’ kitchen – the tradesmen were excellent and the project was well managed.”
