Gloss White with Splash of Colour in Amersham

Mark is a landscape gardener who was working at a client’s house. As he got to know the owner, he mentioned what a fabulous kitchen they had, and could they recommend the company?

Happily for KBS, the client could – so Mark went home to tell his wife the good news – he’d found the people to do their own kitchen!

Mark’s wife Susie takes up the story: “We’d moved from another house with lots of room and a big kitchen, and found that our current house with its narrow dining room and kitchen just wasn’t right for us. We’d decided to knock through and create one large room but of course, it’s one thing to have the idea and another to find the right people to bring it to life.

“I popped into the KBS showroom with very little idea of what I wanted to be honest. I had a few things on my wish list, lots of cupboard space, a utility area and an island unit – but that was about it. Chris, the designer, had quite a task on his hands, but after visiting us, pacing things out and taking some measurements, he went away and came back with exactly what we wanted.

“I honestly don’t know how he managed to translate it all from our heads onto the page but we loved all his suggestions. He’d incorporated my needs, and lots of other lovely things too. The splash of colour provided by the Corian is absolutely gorgeous. We had to go for it after that.”

Once the building work was completed, KBS came in to do their part and everything was completed on time and to budget. Susie and Mark are delighted.

“There’s so much more space and light,” she says. “It’s incredible to think what was here before and how it’s been transformed. Everybody loves what KBS has done and I’ve already recommended them to a friend of mine. We’re thrilled with it all!”
