A Light Bright Kitchen With A Wow Factor
They had had only partially liked the plans that had been drawn up by others and weren’t sure overall with the designs. “We decided to look a bit more up-market and have something that we really wanted. That’s where KBS came into the picture,” says Lynda.
The area in question was large, so there was a lot of scope to change things. The room was initially very dark, so the brief was to lighten it up, as well as installing a new kitchen plus a central island and a few luxury extras.
Lynda says, “From our initial meeting in the showroom where Heather, Peter and Chris showed us what was available, to the design phase where Chris came to our house to give numerous ideas and suggestions the input was superb. Chris suggested layouts and equipment that we could have and the resulting computer design printouts were the best we had seen – almost a photograph of the finished kitchen. We knew then we’d found the right people for the job!”
What they have now is very different, much more functional and easier to use.
“It’s definitely got the ‘wow’ factor says Lynda. “ It’s perfect for us and we couldn’t be happier. I love the built in aspect of the island – so much easier than having a table and chairs. One of my favourite things is the Quooker tap- I adore it– we’ve been able to get rid of the kettle and it’s made a big difference. The utility room is really useful too – it just all flows together really well. I can’t fault any part of the process at all, and I’m just happy we chose KBS.”
