A Dream Kitchen for Returning Customer
Although the couple had used us before (we also supplied their daughter’s kitchen), they still wanted to be sure, so invited several companies to quote.
Fortunately, KBS won the tender and we were delighted to meet the couple once more.
On moving into their new home, they found the old-fashioned kitchen wasn’t to their taste, so having decided to update, they also took the opportunity to expand, in the shape of a small extension to the property.
“We were flexible on our ideas,” says Richard, “but keen to incorporate certain things, like a double oven and plenty of storage. The rest we left up to the designer, Sue.”
However, in the interim, Celia spotted some further ideas like bi-fold doors and a central island, so designs were re-drawn two or three times, until both parties were happy.
And the result is a stunning kitchen that makes full use of the space, whilst retaining warmth and comfort. There’s the central island, plenty of storage and room for a table when guests come to call.
“We are extremely happy with the outcome,” says Richard. “KBS were hugely flexible, working around our specification changes and any sub-contractors that were involved. Celia got her kitchen wish-list, and the process was extremely well managed from start to finish. Once again KBS impressed us.”
