Reusable Water Flasks from Franke to Reduce Plastic Waste

We like to do what we can to be environmentally friendly here at K&B Studios, so we are delighted to support this great initiative from Franke which aims to reduce the use of plastic water bottles.

The #RefillNotLandfillUK campaign aims to create greater awareness of the need to reduce the use of plastic water bottles in everyday life.

The amount of plastic going into landfill is an ever-increasing problem. In the UK, we use 38.5 million single use plastic bottles every day and only 57% of those are recycled. By supporting this campaign, we can all help generate a greater awareness of the need to reduce the use of plastic water bottles in everyday life.

Franke are offering two reusable water flasks on selected taps purchased between now and the end of October. Customers that purchase a Franke FilterFlow, Omni or Minerva 4 in 1 taps, will receive their free flasks when they register their purchase.

Each flask holds half a litre of water, a quarter of your recommended daily intake and is easy to carry, while being small enough to use “on the go” and fit into handbags, sports bags, rucksacks and cup holders in cars. The flasks are robust and hygienic offering a safe and inexpensive way to help keep the body hydrated through regular re-fills and re-use, while crucially reducing plastic waste.

Every two flasks Franke give away could take over 700 single use plastic bottles out of circulation in one year alone- what a great achievement.
