Tranquil Dawn – A Perfect Colour for the Bedroom

Every year the Dulux paint colour specialists discuss global trends and work on transforming these insights into one key paint colour trend. Last year it was Spiced Honey and the 2020 colour has just been announced as Tranquil Dawn.

This is a beautiful calm and neutral colour that sits somewhere between green, blue and grey, all lovely shades for the bedroom. Tranquil Dawn can subtly shift its tone depending on the shades that it is combined with. It can be relaxed and nurturing when used with a sandy tone. Comforting fabrics, cushions and throws and warm woods, are perfect to complete this look in the bedroom.

Dulux have released this image of a bedroom using Tranquil Dawn, which we love. The side walls are painted in the Colour of the Year 2020, Tranquil Dawn, which takes on a muted minimalist interior design effect when combined with the darker Damson Dusk on the back feature wall.
