New Beautiful Flooring Options from Amtico
Flooring is such an important part of any kitchen or bedroom project, we often specify a flooring so that it is in keeping with the design and we can also advise on the relative pros and cons of different finishes.
One of our favourite products is Amtico, it is so versatile in the home, offering hardwearing and easy to care for alternatives to natural materials such as stone and wood. Amtico is also a British manufacturer renowned for its exceptional quality and innovative designs, offering unrivalled choice to our customers.
We are very excited by the latest collections to be released, a beautiful selection of textured wood and stone luxury vinyl tiles that will enhance any kitchen or bedroom design, both traditional and modern.
The Artisan Embossed Wood is laid in the classic Stripwood pattern synonymous with traditional wooden floors and these wood designs introduce an authentic appearance that suits a modern home just as well as one with traditional styling.
Available in a range of colours that includes beautiful greys as well as natural and deeper shades of oak. Artisan Embossed Wood is available in a sophisticated palette of six Parquet designs. Parquet’s geometric laying pattern really captures the beauty of Artisan Embossed Wood as the light catches the hand-crafted grooves at different angles, adding to the flooring’s inherent authenticity.
The Natural Wood Grain Emboss flooring has a raised grain effect that adds depth and dimension and introduces character to a floor. The colour palette presents contemporary charcoal and greys alongside warm honey and amber tones to suit all tastes. Both of these new wood finishes would work well in a bedroom or a kitchen.
The final new collection is perfect for those looking for an alternative to stone flooring. The Contemporary Ceramic collection looks like stone but comes without the need for complex installation and treatments and is much easier to maintain than real stone.
An Amtico floor is warmer to walk on than natural stone and ceramic tiles but can be used with underfloor heating, it can take up to 75 degrees of heat, for extra cosiness! It is also much more forgiving if you drop something on it.
The natural and realistic appearance is achieved through a clever variation of shades and tones. When laid in a classic stone pattern such as Broken Bond with a contrasting stripping option, the eye is drawn to subtle changes in colour that replicate the appearance of stone.
Choices in cool cream through to almost black closely represent the shades and tones of real stone and ceramic floors.
