More Beautiful Worktops from Dekton
Dekton is one of our favourite worktops for kitchens and we loved all the new colours that were added to the range last year. We are delighted that another stunning new colour has now been added.
Fiord is part of the Natural Gloss Dekton Range. With its neutral tones of cream and white and even a very subtle hint of light blue, its ultra-glossy finish provides a radiant shine which compliments any kitchen or living space.
Dekton is the most beautiful, highly-polished surface that looks almost like glass when in-situ. Developed by top brand Cosentino, Dekton has been years in the making, using a sophisticated blend of raw materials which are then compressed and polished to create the look.
The technology used to create it not only makes it look unique but provides many advantages that make it an ideal worktop in the kitchen.
Dekton is the most scratch resistant surface on the market. The slip of a knife won’t damage Dekton, but we do still recommend cutting boards to protect your household utensils.
While other surfaces are stain resistant, Dekton is completely stain proof. Even the most stubborn stains like wine, coffee, markers and rust can easily be removed from the surface. Since Dekton has extremely low porosity and contains no resins, it is chemical resistant. Drips or splashes of common household chemicals like bleach, drain cleaners or oven degreasers won’t harm Dekton.
Dekton also withstands high temperatures without burning, scorching or cracking. Hot pans can be placed directly on the surface with no worry of damage. The use of Dekton is not confined to kitchens, it can be used in other rooms too– it really is that versatile. It can be cut to any size, so there are no limits to how it can be used.
